An American club has expressed a strong desire to sign Brazilian star Neymar Jr., the forward for Al Hilal Saudi Club. Media reports revealed that the American club Chicago Fire began negotiations with Neymar and offered the Brazilian star a two-year contract.
Al Hilal did not benefit much from the deal of Neymar, 32, to Al Hilal in the summer of 2023, since he joined from Paris Saint-Germain, France, as the Brazilian player participated in only 7 matches over the current and past two seasons, due to his ACL injury.
Neymar is looking forward to participating in the next World Cup 2026 in the United States, Canada and Mexico and a move to the MLS would bring him closer to his goal.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadhiyah" revealed earlier that Al-Hilal Club decided to freeze Neymar during the coming period and contract with a replacement star.
