The Brazilian national team failed to secure a win during the international break in November, as it stumbled for the second consecutive match.
The "Samba Dancers" team tied with Uruguay, 1-1, in the match that brought them together, Wednesday, at the "Arena Fonte Nova" stadium in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, as part of the 12th round of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Uruguay opened the scoring through Federico Valverde, Real Madrid player, in the (55) minute.
In the (62) minute, Jesron, Flamengo player, managed to score the equalizer for the Selecao.
Brazil, the 5-time World Cup winner, is ranked fifth in the South American qualifiers with 18 points, one point behind Colombia and Ecuador, after its second consecutive draw.
Uruguay are second with 20 points, five points behind leaders Argentina.
The top six teams qualify directly for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, while the seventh-placed team plays in a global play-off.
