19 year old Turkish prodigy, Arda Guler, midfielder for Spanish giants Real Madrid has reportedly handed in a transfer request, for a loan move away from the Bernabeu this upcoming winter transfer window. Arda has only seen 307 minutes of playing time over the past 12 matches, starting in La Liga only on 3 occasions this season, and failing to score on any of them.
Spanish media reports that the young Turk has his mind set on a loan move, despite the Real Madrid management agreeing that he deserves to get more minutes. The topic of Arda Guler has reportedly been a point of disagreement between Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti and his son and assistant Davide Ancelotti.
Guler had reportedly requested more minutes on many occasions, leading him to opt for another option for at least the remainder of the season. On the national stage Guler was an important starting player in Turkiye's last 5 matches, scoring a magnificent goal and securing an assist to his name. He will most likely start against Montenegro tonight in the UEFA Nations League group B4.
