Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick for Norway in a 5-0 win over Kazakhstan on Sunday in the final round of Group 3 in the second tier of the UEFA Nations League. Erling Haaland scored in the 23rd, 37th and 71st minutes, and Alexander Sorloth (41) and Antonio Nossa (76) scored for Norway.
After scoring a hat-trick against Kazakhstan, Haaland currently leads the UEFA Nations League top scorers list with seven goals.
In total, Haaland is the top scorer in the UEFA Nations League history after increasing his tally to 19 goals, four goals ahead of Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Norway, thanks to their big win over Kazakhstan, climbed to the top of Group 3 in the second level of the tournament, two points ahead of Austria, who fell into the trap of a 1-1 draw with Slovenia, leaving Norway with 13 points, compared to 11 for Austria, 8 for third-placed Slovenia and one point for fourth-placed Kazakhstan.
The Norwegian team thus climbed to the first level of the European Nations League.
