Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo increased to his record as the top scorer in international football by scoring two goals for his country's national team against Poland , Friday, in the fifth round of Group 1 in the first level of the European Nations League.
Ronaldo scored his first goal from a penalty kick that he executed in the "Panenka" style in the middle of the goal in the 72nd minute, and the second from an amazing scissors kick in the 87th minute, contributing to Portugal's victory over Poland with a score of 5-1.
Ronaldo raised his total goal tally with the national team and the clubs he played for throughout his career to 910 goals, strengthening his position as the best scorer in the history of football.
Ronaldo, who will turn 40 next February, is now 90 goals away from achieving his dream of scoring a thousand goals before retiring from football.
The Saudi Al-Nassr striker had previously stated that he would not retire until he scored a thousand goals.
