Barcelona Club announced, Monday, the nature of the injury of its stars, the Spanish international Lamine Yamal, and the Polish Robert Lewandowski, and the expected duration of their absence from the stadiums. Barcelona said via its official account on "X" : "The examinations conducted this morning confirmed that the first-team player Lamine Yamal suffers from a severe sprain in the right ankle of the first degree."
Barcelona's statement added: "Lamine is expected to be absent from the stadiums for a period ranging between two to three weeks."
It continued: "Robert Lewandowski suffered a lower back injury. He is expected to be absent from the stadiums for about 10 days."
Lamine Yamal was excluded due to injury from playing the match that Barcelona lost to its host Real Sociedad (0-1) , Sunday, in the 13th round of the Spanish League.
While Lewandowski participated for 90 minutes before subbing off with a limp.
