The management of Real Madrid club held an urgent meeting with the Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, after the home defeat against AC Milan (1-3) on Tuesday evening, during the Champions League. According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Ancelotti is fully aware that he is under pressure as a result of the team's recent performances, namely the defeat against Barcelona and AC Milan at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.
The newspaper pointed out that the top officials of Real Madrid met with Ancelotti last week, after the painful defeat against Barcelona, and expressed their support for the team. But the tide is rapidly changing after the poor performance against Milan.
"Marca" explained that immediately after the match against Milan, Ancelotti met again with the club's management, who wanted to know his opinion and if he felt that he was able to turn the situation around.
Ancelotti told the club that he still believes that the players believe in what they are doing, despite the results on the field.
But the Spanish "Relifo" network indicated that the patience of the Real Madrid administration led by President Florentino Perez is starting to run out.
