Norwegian star Erling Haaland missed a penalty kick for Manchester City during their match against host Sporting Lisbon, Portugal, on Tuesday evening, in the fourth round of the Champions League.
The referee awarded a penalty kick to Bernardo Silva , after returning to the video technology "VAR", after a handball on one of the defenders, at a pivotal moment. Sporting were leading by three goals to one.
However, Haaland failed to score to reduce the difference, as he hit the ball too hard from the penalty mark, hitting the crossbar and going out.
