Inter Milan achieved a valuable victory over its guest Venezia by one goal o none, in the 11th week of the Italian Football League, Series A. Inter owes this victory to its Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez, who scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute.
Martinez scored his goal with a powerful 'bullet' header, after a cross from his teammate Federico Dimarco.
Inter, the title holder, raised its score to 24, occupying the second place in the "Calcio" standings, and tightened the noose on the leader Napoli (25 points), who suffered a heavy defeat at home at the hands of Atalanta by three without a response earlier today.
Inter's victory and Napoli's loss come before the two teams' expected meeting next Sunday in the summit of the 12th round of "Calcio".
