Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the technical director of t Al Hilal Saudi Club, revealed that Brazilian star Neymar will feature in the match against Esteghlal of Iran in the AFC Champions League. Al Hilal hosts its Iranian counterpart Esteghlal today, Monday, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League.
Neymar will participate with Al Hilal Club in the AFC Champions League, as he appeared with the team in the last round against Al Ain of the Emirates, which witnessed his sides victory by five goals, but he cannot participate locally with Al Hilal after his name was removed from the list due to his long injury and will return to it next January. Jesus said in a press conference before the match that Neymar will be on the list in today's match, but he did not reveal whether he will push Neymar into the starting lineup or continue his participation gradually.
The Portuguese coach stressed that the Esteghlal team is different and plays on the defensive sides and each match is different from the other, saying: "Our method is collective and no player acts on his own and everyone realizes that we play collectively."
He added: "We are waiting for a difficult match against a strong team that has a good group and a coach who has previously worked in Saudi Arabia." It is worth noting that Al Hilal leads the West Group with 9 points collected from 3 victories after defeating Al Rayyan of Qatar, Al Shorta of Iraq and finally Al Ain of the Emirates.
