Reports: Salah protested against his coach Slot and called him "crazy"

Dutch press reports revealed that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah clashed with his Dutch coach Arne Slot during the preparatory period before the start of the current season, as he described him as "crazy" during the team's camp.

Slot took over the responsibility of coaching Liverpool at the beginning of this season, succeeding German Jurgen Klopp, and the team currently occupies second place in the league standings with 22 points, one point behind leaders Manchester City, and the "Reds" also lead the league stage in the Champions League competition with a full mark (nine points obtained from three matches).

According to Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan from the newspaper "De Telegraaf", Salah had a protest against Slot's style at first, and it took some time to adapt to the Dutch coach's method.

The report added that Salah described Slot as "crazy" because of the intensity he demands from the attackers regarding the amount of work on the field.

Under former manager Klopp, known for his 4-3-3 tactical approach and high-pressing style that required players to work hard, Liverpool's training sessions were not particularly demanding, so if Van der Kraan's report is correct, it paints a picture of how demanding Slot is.

The report confirms that Salah and Slot have managed to put their early differences aside, and the Egyptian has started every Liverpool game this season in all competitions, bar one in the League Cup, and has so far scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 13 appearances.
