Inter Milan achieved a valuable victory over its host Empoli 3-0 in the tenth round of the Italian Series A, Wednesday.
David Frattesi scored the first and second goals in the 50th and 67th minutes, and Argentine Lautaro Martinez added the third goal in the 79th minute.
Empoli completed the match with ten players since the 31st minute after the expulsion of its Georgian defender Saba Guglichidze.
Inter, the title holder of last season, raised its score to 21 in second place, and reduced the difference from the leader Napoli to four points.
As for Empoli, its score froze at 11 points and remained in 11th place.
