Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi Al-Nasr, wasted a penalty kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time, in the match against Al-Taawoun in the round of 16 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup on Tuesday, leading to his side's elimination from the cup!
One of the children present in the stands of the "Al-Awal Park" stadium paid the price for Al-Nasr's penalty kick, which could have been a golden opportunity to equalize the score against Al-Taawoun.
Ronaldo shot the penalty kick that Mohammed Maran won outside the goal, hitting one of the children and knocking him down.
Socila media users circulated a video clip on the "X" platform showing the child in pain from the force of the ball. The shock to the Al-Nasr fans was great, as they never expected the Portuguese star to waste the penalty kick, and thus "Al-Alamy" lost 0-1, and bid farewell to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup Championship, from the round of 16.
Al-Nassr has only the AFC Champions League and the Saudi Roshen League left this season after losing the Saudi Super Cup and the King's Cup, and is currently 6 points behind Al-Hilal at the top of the league.
